We have an exciting opportunity in our Christchurch Head Office for a Senior Software Engineer to join a small but inclusive team, working on software that forms a critical component for how our customers manage their radio networks. We are looking for someone who is a strong team player, with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering quality products.

Tait Communications is a global leader in designing and delivering critical communications solutions which are the right fit for a variety of industries, including public safety agencies, government services, utilities, extractive industries, and urban transport providers. Across the world, users of Tait products and services are better able to protect themselves and the public, be more responsive and more productive.

**In this role you will**:

- Get to experience the full software lifecycle on some of our key projects.
- Work in a cross-functional, agile, development team.
- Be exposed to a diverse range of learning opportunities.
- Be immersed in complex and challenging projects, providing great opportunity for personal and professional development.

**If you have experience in the following areas, then we want to hear from you**:

- A tertiary qualification in Computer Science or Software Engineering
- Experience in C# and the.NET Framework or.NET Core
- Proficiency in ASP.NET or ASP.NET Core
- Familiarity with relational databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server
- Web front end experience using technologies like HTML, CSS, Javascript and TypeScript.
- User experience (UX) design would be a bonus
