We are Te Whatu Ora Te Toka Tumai Auckland. We provide health and disability services to more than half a million people living in central Auckland, regional services for Northland and greater Auckland, and specialist national services for the whole of New Zealand. Our main sites are Auckland City Hospital, Greenlane Clinical Centre and Starship Children’s Hospital, located in central Auckland.
We are part of Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand, the overarching organisation for New Zealand’s national health service. Te Whatu Ora leads the day-to-day running of the health system, with functions delivered at local, district, regional and national levels.

At Te Toka Tumai Auckland, we operate in state of the art surroundings with a supportive team committed to delivering excellence in quality of care to our patients. Our Cardiothoracic Operating Rooms; is the largest unit in the country for a wide range of Cardiothoracic Surgical procedures locally and regionally which includes Open Heart surgeries, Paediatric Cardiac and Congenital surgeries and Heart and Lung Transplantation We also have a highly innovative, world class Hybrid OR, which offers interventional radiological care utilising robotic Zeego.

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**
You will be an experienced Theatre Nurse who may or may not have experience of working in **Cardiac & Thoracic Surgeries** but:
- Demonstrate sound practical skills in Theatre Nursing with some experience in an Acute setting in a large hospital preferable within New Zealand
- Are keen to extend their Theatre Nursing skill in Cardiac Surgery
- Have the motivation to provide high quality patient care
