Assistant Store Manager

We require a Full-time experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team and will require you to work at least one day on the weekend.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for:

- This role is responsible for replenishing the stock on our shop floor and that stock levels are controlled appropriately.
- Working with other staff members to ensure that stock is put away into proper and accurate locations
- Ensuring that all appropriate signage is displayed correctly, and that advertised product is displayed meaningfully.
- You would also be responsible for ensuring that stock is rotated appropriately
- You will be required to work in Frozen/Chill & Produce Departments
- General Cleaning & Maintenance
- Assisting customers with inquiries.
- Assisting at Checkout
Ideal skills for the role include:

- Be physically fit as heavy lifting is involved up to 20kg
- Previous experience in a Retail environment minimum of 2 years.
- Be fluent in written and verbal English
- The ability to problem solve on their own
- Be accountable and driven to better their performance each week
- Be extremely reliable and willing to work extra when required
- Honest team player with a can do attitude.
- Team player who is happy to work across multiple departments
- Be honest and have an eye for detail.
It would be of advantage if you have a General Managers Certificate & lotto experience.

Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand,also need to be fully vaccinated to be considered

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Shift work
