An exciting opportunity to join the International Team as a Programme Manager, International in a part time permanent role, at the Electoral Commission in Wellington.
This role supportsmanaging the delivery of the electoral assistance programmes, particularly to Pacific nations. It provides electoral programme expertise and knowledge allowing independent elections to be run successfully.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Support other nations with the delivery of independent elections

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders

Lead and coach a diverse project team that works collaboratively and is committed to team goals and objectives

Work closely with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade to establish the criteria and terms for each Memorandum of Understanding connection

Develop realistic action plans and manage organisation change

Use a systematic approach to identify opportunities to solve problems and offer alternative solutions

Manage budget requirements, meet organisational financial budgeting, and monitor and report expenditure

A relevant tertiary qualification or international development experience

Experience with the New Zealand electoral processes, systems and operations

Knowledge of the sensitive political and governmental environments the Commission works in internationally

Experience in analysing and documenting business requirements

Experience in event management

High level computer literacy

Well-developed negotiation and relationship management skills
