Validation Engineer

**The Role**

Synlait are looking for a Validation Engineer to join our professional team at our busy Auckland manufacturing sites covering Mangere and Pokeno based sites.

Responsibilities for this role include
- Support of validation and site projects including new, and development of existing, manufacturing facilities
- Coordinating with process owners and project contractors to ensure installation qualification (IQ) and operational qualification (OQ) commissioning
- Performing validation sampling testing, protocols writing, executions and reports writings.
- Maintenance of compliance documentation to the highest standards aligning with with customer and regulatory requirements

Key to your success will be your ability to build strong and supportive relationships with cross functional teams across the business so we can ensure our validation reports are up to date and provide a quality insight to the Synlait business.

**Skills and Experience**

This is a full time role working 40 hours a week with an excellent supportive team.

To be considered for this role will require
- A Chemical and/or Process Engineering degree, or equivalent qualification in a related discipline.
- Strong specialist knowledge of validation from practical experience
- Experience with Food Safety and HACCP systems in dairy plant or similar food industry
- Well-developed problem solving capability with strong organisational and planning skills
- Experience in the use of the Microsoft Office suite is also highly advantageous in this role.
