**Garden Maintenance Team Leader - Oliver’s Army**

**Pay Rate**: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience

Oliver’s Army is seeking multiple experienced and motivated **Garden Maintenance Team Leaders** to join our garden maintenance division. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Wellington, ideal for someone with a passion for horticulture, strong leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to maintaining high-quality gardens and landscapes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of 1-2 garden maintenance staff.
- Carry out a range of horticultural tasks including pruning, weeding, planting, fertilising, pest control, mulching, plant disease identification and treatment, and lawn care.
- Ensure all maintenance work meets company standards for quality, efficiency, and safety.
- Plan and prioritise daily and weekly schedules for maintenance tasks.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in clean and safe working condition.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and management.
- Complete job documentation, timesheets, and reporting as required.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures.

**Experience and Skills Required**:

- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in garden or landscape maintenance.
- Current full driver’s licence.
- Strong plant knowledge and practical horticultural skills.
- Leadership or supervisory experience in a similar role is preferable.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual outdoor work in various weather conditions.

**Hours of Work**:

- Monday to Friday, 7:15 AM to 4:00 PM
