We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team based in Auckland. You will be responsible for converting and delivering design briefs as supplied into design details and working drawings for our mining clients, commercial laboratories, and research institutions. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE**:

- Use SolidWorks to convert design briefs into design details and working drawings accurately;
- Set up and test mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems as required;
- Effectively liaise with Production staff to make corrections and improvements to design.
- Experience using SolidWorks to convert design briefs into design details and working drawings;
- The ability to design, document (in AutoCad of Draft Sight) and commission Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems;
- A tertiary qualification with a minimum of two years or more experience in the same or similar role;

**WE ARE SEEKING SOMEONE WHO HAS**:

- Experience using SolidWorks to convert design briefs into design details and working drawings;
- The ability to design, document (in AutoCad of Draft Sight) and commission Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems;
- A tertiary qualification with a minimum of five years or more experience in the same or similar role.
