**The opportunity**

Our depth of experience and exciting office culture enables our people to impact and play a huge role in the day-to-day life of people in Aotearoa and internationally. Our team deliver outstanding project outcomes across the infrastructure, industrial, buildings, water, and advisory areas of our business. We are supporting some exciting offshore projects, plus many in New Zealand and Australia. With several large contracts ahead of us, we are looking to grow our team.

To be part of our exciting growth, we are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Auckland-based team who has a significant depth of expertise in EI&C as well as other engineering disciplines. We are a close-knit team who enjoys being part of the office culture, which showcases our values of enjoyment, partnership, care and tenacity

In this role, you will work across a wide range of clients, industries and types of work, anything and everything from 11kV and below, across electrical and control systems for industrial sites. Each day will present a new challenge, but overall, you can expect to:

- Work across a variety of electrical systems and equipment, anything and everything.
- Design and development of instrumentation and electrical systems
- Project management, procurement, and commissioning for existing and greenfield plants
- Scope/requirements definition and procurement of equipment, software & installation works
- Detailed design, contractual report writing & construction related services

Aligned with the level of the role, we envision that the base salary component will be between NZ$90,000.00 - 120,000.00, depending on skills and experience. The role is full-time and permanent, with minimum guaranteed hours of 40 hours a week.

**About you**

You love to learn and share knowledge and are someone who can bring a fresh perspective. You are an experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for design and problem-solving with an inquiring mind, and the ability to problem-solve and think laterally. You will have five or more years of relevant work experience working on a wide range of aspects of electrical systems. Ideally, you have developed your skills in delivery and are committed to owning quality client outcomes. How you work is also important to us - we will value and reward your enthusiasm and motivation to continue learning from your peers and more senior team members.
