Our client based Auckland is currently looking for individuals to join our team as a **Kitchen Helper / Cafe Worker **.

Minimum 30+ hours/week

Multiple Positions available.

**Responsibilities**:

- Help completing basic food preparation tasks
- Preparing and helping chefs and cook in other basic cooking activities Requirements.
- Portioning food placing it on plates and adding gravies sauces and garnishes
- Clean and maintain high hygiene standards in kitchens food preparation areas and sculleries.
- Cleaning Kitchen and food preparation area plates and other cooking utensils
- Storing raw food materials like flour spices vegetables etc. safely
- Packing take away orders

**Job Requirements**:

- 1 year experience in a kitchen environment would be preferable. We will give you a full training.
- Strong organisational skills to assist in cook/chefs.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as a part of team.
- Flexibility to adapt to the demands of a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good communication and understanding skills.
- A ‘can do’ attitude to perform duties.
- Handling sorting and distributing food items as directed by the head chef.
- Ensuring the kitchen is clean and sanitary at all times.
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Willing to work till 10AM to 10 PM & Weekends must.

Availability during late night closing Weekends Public Holidays and during Christmas and New Years Break
