**Summerset Avonhead are looking for an exceptional Caregiver to join the team on a permanent, part time basis.**

This is a busy and diverse role, assisting residents with their day-to-day activities such as showering, delivering meals and much more. Therefore, you will need to be resilient, kind and patient, while a good level of fitness will prove useful for delivering the best in personal care.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing personal care to residents under the guidance and direction of the Registered Nurse
- Working as part of a team to support creating an enjoyable and safe home for residents

**_This is a developmental role that will grow your ability as a Caregiver and provide you with the skills and knowledge to create a career in healthcare._**

**Qualifications**:

- have experience in aged care and or have a qualification relevant to the role.
- have genuine compassion for all kinds of people from all walks of life.
- be a team player and be able to manage your time well in order to complete all your tasks.
- be available to work on a rostered and rotating shift pattern (including mornings, afternoon and weekends).

- $25.39-$29.95 per hour based on your experience and or qualifications
- Weekend rates of an additional **40 percent** of the hourly rate
- Time and one half for all work or shifts over 8 hours in a day
