We've embarked on a period of transformation that aligns our future work priorities to the delivery of the Regional Land Transport Plan (RLTP). This is your opportunity to jump on board as we shape the future of Auckland's Transportation system.

Our Corporate Analytics function is seeking an Application Programming Interface (API) Specialist to join the team to hold responsibility for the technical IT support and enhancement of Auckland Transport's APIs, all public API access including the GIS Portal and associated APIs.

You will bring prior experience in a Portal or API Administration role, preferably with experience with AZURE API Manager and have experience in platform or product management. Key skills include:

- Demonstrable knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP and JSON
- Possesses a high standard of written skills, in particular the proven ability in documenting requirements and specifications.
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills, able to effectively build constructive relationships when differing perspectives and needs exist.
