Experienced and qualifed Class 5 Truck and Tractor Drivers are sought to work in our busy company in the Bay of Plenty (though you will be driving around the North and South Island). Work will usually be driving around the Bay of Plenty but can also be outside of this region and around New Zealand. You will also need to be fit as there will be a lot of lifting involved in this job. As a company, we do not tolerate alcohol consumption either whilst driving or prior to driving or any other substance or medication which could affect your driving capabilities and your ability to make rational decisions on the road and in work locations.

You will be able to show maturity and be able to communicate with a wide variety of people. Must have excellent loading understanding, good interpersonal skills and able to work unsupervised. Applicants must be able to work early mornings and late nights as required.

Your key responsilities as a Truck Driver will be:

- Loading, transporting and delivering items in a safe and timely manner.
- Loading and unloading items
- Handling customer enquiries, answering questions and escalating any complaints from clients.
- Adhering to assigned routes and following time shedules
- Preparing reports, log books and other documents relating to driving
- Keeping the vehicles clean and tidy
- Experience in couriers or a logistic type role is an advantage (though not required)
- You must be physically fit, have a keen eye for detail and a Can Do Attitude.
- You must be reliable and be able to communicate well with other staff and customers.

Your Responsibilities for the Tractor Drivers will be:

- Operating and maintaining our machinery including tractors
- Completing minor repair work and assisting in the procurement of new machinery
- Arranging for major maintanace work with reputable companies
- Completing paperwork as required and ensuring the highest quality of work possible.

Applicants should have good references and be a team player. Applicants for the Truck Driver Role must have a class 5license or have the willingness and ability to obtain one. Applicants for the Tractor Role must have a class 1 license with the appropriate endorsements or must be willing to get these licenses and endorsements.

For these roles, we are looking at a minimum of 30 hours of work per week. The minimum payrate for this role is $29.66and the maximum payrate we are looking at is $35.
