Fabrum is headquartered in Christchurch, New Zealand and leads the world in industrialized small to medium scale liquefaction systems and composite cryogenic vessels. The company is actively deploying end to end liquid hydrogen solutions globally across heavy transport, mining and aviation markets. Core competencies include green hydrogen production, storage, dispensing and system integration. Fabrum also has a strong presence in the Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM) markets of liquid nitrogen (LIN), liquid oxygen (LOX), and LNG with customers ranging from animal husbandry to hi-tech research institutions, manufacturing and defence.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Fabrum are looking for a Senior or hands-on Team Lead to join their engineering team, acting as the guide for more junior electrical engineers and contractors. This role would be suitable for a Senior who is interested in a leadership track, or an experienced Senior / Lead who already has experience mentoring or leading a small team.
This role will see you contributing to a fast-paced and dynamic team delivering some exciting and impactful projects in gas production, liquefaction, storage and delivery. You will have the opportunity to:
- Develop cutting-edge solutions for world-leading projects, including hydrogen refueling stations and liquefiers
- Help develop best practice systems and processes, and drive a continuous improvement culture
- Provide technical expertise, guidance, and troubleshooting support to resolve complex engineering problems
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations throughout the design and manufacturing processes
- Mentor and guide other engineers, fostering their professional growth and contributing to a collaborative team environment
**ABOUT YOU**
- Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent (Electrical/Mechatronics)
- Experience with designing control systems, instrumentation, and three phase power systems
- Experience integrating industrial equipment with external processes.
- Experience with creation of electrical drawings such as SLDs, interconnection & loop diagrams, and cabinet layouts. Design of PLC controlled equipment from I/O list to FAT
- Exposure to Electrolysers, Air Separation Units, petroleum industry, or industrial automation would be beneficial
- Any product certification processes to international standards (e.g., CE, UL, IECEx) would be beneficial
- Exposure to hazardous area classification & design would be beneficial but is not required - training will be provided.
