QA Manager

Ventia is currently seeking a Quality Manager to take ownership and overall management of the quality function in our Auckland Transport West Roading Maintenance Contract.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This role will be responsible for ensuring that all factions of the contract team confirm to the specified contract requirements as defined by the specification and the site-specific Contract Management Plans. While this role reports functionally to the Maintenance Manager there is a degree of independence with compliance reporting directly to the Contract Governance Board (CGB)

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Making sure there is overarching quality management plans for the business
- Making sure there is detailed quality plans for job packs
- Auditing those job packs both office and in the field
- Summary reporting of our KRAs and KPIs for the wider business, which will include health and safety, environmental, sustainability, quality, etc.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Precious experience in a quality management role.
- Previous experience in quality auditing, reviewing and performance monitoring
- Tertiary or trade engineering qualifications preferred
- Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong time management skills
- High-level report writing skills
- Strong risk-analysis skills
- Valid NZ driver’s license Class 1.
- Proficiency in the use of all MS Office programs including (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); SAP or similar accounting software experience.
