**About the opportunity**

We’re looking for a Senior Commercial Business Partner - Sales & Category to join our high-performing Commercial Finance team. Ideally the role would be based in Whakatu, Hawkes Bay, although we would also consider Auckland-based applicants too.

This is an exciting chance to partner with the T&G Apples leadership team, helping to shape the strategic direction of a truly global apple business. You’ll be at the forefront of commercial decision-making, influencing outcomes across the NZ apple value chain and contributing to initiatives that set new benchmarks for performance.

Key responsibilities include:

- Business partnering across T&G’s NZ Apple value chain to unlock and deliver commercial outcomes
- Act as a Strategic Partner with the business and influence the creation and implementation of strategic plans to improve business performance
- Oversee all general ledger accounting across revenue, expenses, and cashflow
- Develop and execute monthly forecasting and the annual budgeting cycle
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports
- Provide insights and analysis, to enable stakeholders to understand commercial results and support commercial decisions / projects

**About you**
- Degree qualified in Accounting with solid financial and management accounting foundations
- Commercially minded and the ability to think strategically
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Collaborative team player
- Exposure to the horticulture sector would be an advantage
