Condor Energy Services Ltd is growing in the Energy Sector and operates in multiple locations across Australia and New Zealand. We are looking for a Fulltime experienced Heavy Diesel, Senior Mechanical Technician located in **New Plymouth** to support our growing New Zealand Operations.
- Be experienced working with electronically controlled hydraulic systems and able to read associated schematics
- Have experience using electronic diagnostic tools such as CAT ET and SIS
- Be experienced working in the oil and gas well services industry (preferred, not essential)
- Be at least 2 years out of an apprenticeship.
- Have experienced working within HSE guidelines and procedures (preferred)
- Be experienced working on Light and Heavy Commercial Vehicles and Trailers

The following certifications would be an advantage but are not essential:

- First aid and CPR
- Common permit to work and gas testing
- Forklift license
- Truck license, class 2, 4, 5

**Additional Responsibilities include**:

- Ensure workshop is maintained and tidy.
- Perform remote equipment servicing, repairs, and inspections.
- Carry out pre-COF inspections.
- Use of cloud-based maintenance management systems for documentation and inventory.
- Be able to work in a variety of environments.
- Assist with other operational tasks including equipment rig up and chemical transfer or as directed by Line Manager.
- Ability to travel to and work in Australia to support operations if required.

You will have good problem solving and communication skills, work through problems systematically, thrive on accountability, be resilient and have a high drive to succeed.

This is a fulltime Monday to Friday Salaried role. Flexibility is a key part of our business as we work around varied start and finish times to accommodate our clients needs. You will also be required to work some weekends and extended periods that you will be compensated for.

**Salary**: $90,000.00 - $109,000.00 per year
