**We are seeking twofriendly, customer-oriented individuals to join our team at Muffin Break as a Cafe Assistant. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive dining experience at our cafe.**

**Responsibilities**:

- ** Greet and welcome customers as they enter the cafe with a warm and friendly demeanor.**
- ** Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries, taking orders.**
- ** Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and other specialty drinks, in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.**
- ** Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments, providing change, and issuing receipts.**
- ** Maintain a clean and organized front of house area, including tables, counters, and display cases and cabinets, ensuring they are fully stocked with utensils, napkins, and condiments.**
- ** Assist with food preparation, such as assembling sandwiches, salads, and pastries.**
- ** Monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies, such as coffee beans, milk, tea, and paper products, and notify management when reordering is necessary.**
- ** Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.**
- ** Provide support to other team members as needed, including assisting with cleaning tasks, dishwashing, and restocking inventory.**

**Requirements**:

- ** Previous experience in a customer service role, preferable but not necessary.**
- ** Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.**
- ** Excellent multitasking and time management abilities to handle a fast-paced environment.**
- ** Basic math skills for cash handling and register operations.**
- ** Knowledge of coffee and other beverage preparation methods is a plus but not necessary.**
- ** Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, late nights and holidays.**
- ** Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.**
- ** Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.**
