Downer is an industry leader in water, providing water services to a quarter of New Zealanders. We support our customers across the full asset lifecycle from the conceptual development of a project through design, construction, commissioning and whole-of-life support and optimisation.

Downer NZ's Auckland Water team has three positions available for Apprentice Water Servicepersons to join their team supporting the wider Auckland region.

The purpose of this position is to assist and support the crew delivering routine and reactive maintenance on Auckland's water, wastewater and stormwater networks including pump stations.

For those of you with experience in Water, OR if you have relevant hand on experience in areas such as drainage, civil, plumbing, irrigation or similar, this would be a great opportunity for you.

**Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills**
- Interest in the water industry, knowledge and experience ideal but not mandatory
- Ability to perform to a high standard, with great work ethic & attitude
- Be able to work well within a team and by yourself
- Excellent communication skills
- Ideally you have your Full class 1 driver’s licence, or very close to getting this
- Sound numeracy, literacy, and computer skills
- Strong focus on Health and Safety
