Yard Coordinator

**Brian Perry Civil** is a leading and award-winning New Zealand contractor. As part of the overall Fletcher Building Group, we undertake a wide range of civil construction projects throughout New Zealand and the South Pacific with specialities including foundation and piling works.

Looking for a new challenge, playing a pivotal role within our
**Brian Perry Civil** Vickery Street Yard located in Hamilton.

In this role you will be involved with the efficient dispatch and tracking of tools, equipment, portacoms, containers and plant (so we know where equipment is located, when it is due to be returned, whilst planning ahead for plant requirements across other regional projects).

You will also be involved in ensuring service and maintenance schedules are met as planned for items in the yard and those allocated to project sites.
- Someone who takes pride in running a safe, tidy and efficient yard
- Able to build strong and credible relationships with key stakeholders (Foreman, Supervisors, Project Managers, Crew Members), by being reliable and efficient
- An exceptionally organised team player, with strong time management and effective communication skills
- Able and willing to jump in and do the hands on work required in order to deliver (heavy manual work will be required)
- Committed to always making safety our number one priority and a belief that all injuries are preventable
- Computer literate (competent in excel, data entry, reporting)
- Suitably experienced and qualified for forkhoist use
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to ensure basic maintenance of plant and equipment
- Experienced within the construction industry (ideal, but not necessary)
