Let’s not forget about that 7-minute commute to work
**The Organisation**
The Timaru District Council aims to enable democratic local decision-making and action by and on behalf of communities, to promote the social, economic, environmental, and cultural well-being of its communities in the present and for the future. With around 400 staff, there is a diverse range of roles from front-facing community to support and technical specialists.
**The Role / Person**
Our User Experience & Community Engagement Directorate are on the lookout for an administration superstar with a ‘can-do’ attitude
This isn’t any ordinary administration role - your challenge will be assisting with project coordination and support, funding administration, process improvement initiatives, and helping out with upcoming events and promotions.
Most importantly, we are after someone who is adaptable and quick off the mark, innovative, ready to learn, and brings a great, positive attitude to the team. Being a highly driven directorate with a motivation to create positive change, we want someone who will provide a range of support in different areas to ensure the directorate can deliver great initiatives to our community.
