We have a permanent full-time opportunity for a technician with experience in microbiology or molecular biology to join our team at our Christchurch Service Centre.
In this role you will be involved in helping to deliver various internally and externally funded research projects on microbial pathogens. This includes developing molecular diagnostics, molecular biology, genomics, bacteriology, biofilms, biocontrol, and organ-on-chip.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification in microbiology and/or molecular biology.
- The ability to multitask multiple priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work well in a team and on your own.

Experience working in a PC2 laboratory and with cell culture, ELISA/kinetic assays, protein expression or biopolymer synthesis would be advantageous.
