Working closely with our Regional Inventory Managers to achieve the Regional Closing Inventory Targets and to coordinate the stocktakes for the region’s Retail channel (Touch Labs and Outlets).
A dynamic team player, you’ll share your proven analytical and problem-solving expertise across the business. Renowned for using qualitative and quantitative judgment you have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You have a continuous improvement mindset with proven success in identifying and implementing process improvements.
**You’ll be responsible for**:
- Building and maintaining model stock requirements and seasonal inventory profiles and managing all aspects of store replenishment.
- Participate in the execution of the Regional Outlet Promotional Strategy by validating the stock requirements and stock availability for the outlets, recommending store carrying inventory opportunities, monitoring stock levels, and completing outlet allocations weekly.
- Support our Regional Merchandise Planner, with the direct-to-consumer retail channel’s promotional inventory needs.
- Support the Regional Merchandise Planner with order input and systems management (Retail Pro, Microsoft AX) ensuring all data contained across all systems is consistent and accurate.
- Coordinate and support the region’s Retail Store stocktakes and manage inventory controls.
**What you bring**:
- Desired but not limited to 3 years of relevant inventory management experience, preferably in the apparel industry.
- A proven track record of improving store performance resulting from effective in-season management of inventory allocations to retail stores.
- A solid understanding of what it takes to effectively manage inventory in a high growth model.
- Strong understanding of the New Zealand retail environment.
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and an appetite to learn new systems.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX.
- Knowledge of the retail levers & tactics: sell-through, turnover, traffic, conversion, basket size.
- A consumer-centric mindset with prior retail experience preferred.
