**About the role**
We're looking for a Caregiver to join our Palmerston North Care Home. Reporting to the Nurse Manager, you'll be working under the direction of our Registered Nurses providing high standards of care and support to our residents in our Care Home.

We offer $$22.49 to $28.25 an hour based on your qualification level as recognised through NZQA, and we will support you to gain, or further your qualification level if required, offering you great career growth opportunities. We offer competitive hourly rates, allowances and great staff benefits such as paid 'Wellness' days and your birthday off, as well as an amazing team to work in We are also an Accredited employer and can offer visa support if required.

**This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week -AM and PM shifts and weekends included.**

- Provide exceptional care to our residents
- Ensuring they feel safe, supported, and comfortable
- Working under the guidance of our registered nurses
- Ensuring all heath guidelines are followed

**About you**
We are looking for someone with the right attitude with excellent communication skills and who can work as part of a team to provide a high level of care.
- Careerforce Health and Wellbeing qualification will be advantageous, but not essential
- A good level of fitness
- Previous experience in aged care or working with the elderly is preferred
- Empathy and a love of making a difference in our residents' lives
- Bright, breezy "can do" attitude and a team focus
