Isthmus is an award-winning, integrated design studio that blends architecture, landscape and urban design. Established in 1988, we are guided by a clear set of principles and ideas; our kaupapa is based on deepening the relationships between land, people and culture.

We now have a unique and exciting opportunity for a highly experienced BIM Manager to join our collaborative, ‘one studio’ environment. This role will have you oversee, support and manage all BIM capability, working across a diverse range of projects throughout Aotearoa, where you will work with interdisciplinary teams to deliver award winning, impactful outcomes that enrich communities.

This role will suit someone who love’s the big picture, as well as getting down into the technical detail to see the vision through. You will have industry leading knowledge of BIM Management with the ability to work across landscape architecture, urban design and architecture, and seek to push the envelope when it comes to innovative solutions to design and delivery challenges.

**You’ll be**:

- Working collaboratively with our ‘one studio’ to support, manage and deliver the implementation and development of BIM throughout the organisation
- Passionate about new digital technologies and BIM protocols and developing this, uplifting the capability of the studio
- Enthusiastic for leadership and training with the ability to share your technical and BIM knowledge - through in house training throughout the business

**You’ll have**:

- A relevant tertiary qualification, ideally in Building Science or Architecture and proven related industry experience in BIM Management
- Excellent working knowledge of BIM across landscape architecture, urban design and/or architectural projects
- Experience in setting up and developing templates / BIM standards / family creation / content libraries
- Working knowledge of Dynamo / Grasshopper workflows and integration with Rhino Inside
- Experience with environment modelling - thermal modelling / carbon calculation
- Excitement about working with complexity and the opportunity to collaborate within our ‘no boundaries’ design environment
