**Position Summary**

Manage all the transactional processes and documents for Direct Material Procurement and Claims in a timely manner to ensure the adequate supply of materials to the Factory.

**A day in the life of**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Co-ordinator to join our team at our Cambria Park Factory. Reporting to the Logistics Manager your key objective will be to ensure the timely supply of locally and globally sourced materials from local and global vendors; to meet production requirements; contributing to achieving high levels of Master Production Schedule attainment and Ensuring Supply of our products to our Customers and Consumers. You’ll strive to improve vendors performance through the fostering of strong customer/vendor relationships, achieve inventory targets & continuously improve the efficiency of the purchasing function.

**What will make you successful**

To be successful in the role, you will understand purchasing principles and have exposure to Finance, Accounts Payable, Planning and/or Purchasing functions. As you’ll work closely with all levels of management, staff, stakeholders, production teams and vendors, it is essential that you’re a confident and a natural communicator who is an agile thinker and able to multitask and prioritise in a fast moving environment. With your keen eye for detail and an analytical mind, you’ll be able to identify improvement opportunities and risks. Tertiary qualifications / CPIM and exposure to SAP will be advantageous.
