**That’s the Ingham’s Way**
This national role (reporting to the GM of Operational Excellence) will see you leading the Quality function across our Waikato and Auckland sites. You will be a leader of quality excellence both in process and product. With a strong leadership background, you will be someone who is confident in coaching and mentoring your teams to deliver on key metrics with the ultimate goal of delivering products of quality to our customers.
**This role will see you;**
- Provide leadership and direction to site level processing plant Quality teams
- Support the roll out of Product Pride Program across Ingham’s operations sites
- Lead and roll out Group Quality strategy projects effectively within the timeline.
- Support the development, maintenance and implementation of FSQMS including HACCP/ food safety, pathogen control, animal welfare and product quality assurance
- Develop and implement effective communication and training strategies to ensure sharing of best practices across the organization to drive continuous improvement (KPI )and to improve process control
- Promote a culture of identifying, reporting and managing food safety and product quality risks
- Develop and maintain customer relationships from a quality perspective
- Manage Quality teams accountability for strategic business results
- Manage, monitor and keep Quality initiatives within budget
**To be successful in this role you will need**:
- A tertiary qualification in Food Science or a related discipline.
- At least 5-10 years’ experience as a Quality Assurance Manager. Experience managing multiple facilities preferred.
- Proven ability to communicate and implement a Quality Assurance strategy across a large food production company.
- Ability to inspire and manage multiple relationships and stakeholders across the business
- Strong people leadership capability with experience in leading large teams across multiple sites.
