Graphic Designer

Are you a junior to intermediate level Graphic Designer / Mac Op who is keen and eager to step into a brand-new role and make it your own?
Our client is a small, but incredibly passionate and hardworking branding agency located in Auckland. They are the sister company to and reside with an independent advertising agency.
They are looking for an eagle-eyed designer, who is an absolute whizz on the tools, to join their small team of four. You will be the sole designer in the team, which means an exciting opportunity to own this role and grow with the agency, where you will work across a broad range of design projects.
Working with this supportive team, you will be a pivotal member - being relied upon to interpret briefs, output amazing artwork and dealing with clients when working on building brand activation projects. They do all this in an end-to-end way, through impeccable brand design, highly engaging video content, best in class social work and epic activation experiences.
As the Graphic Designer, your core job is to create an excellent creative product, no matter how small or big the piece, through visually impactful and smart design - while hitting tight timeframes. You have the ability to flex into whatever the job requires, whether it’s a touch of concepting, creative design, mac-opping, editing or photography. Ultimately, you are a designer with many creative traits and skills.
**Accountabilities**:

- Bringing your creative design flair to everything you do so each job is beautiful and

well-crafted
- Collaborating with the suits to ensure that jobs are done on time, especially with the type of fast turnaround work they do
- Always adding value to the work and flexing that proactive muscle
- Ensuring all jobs that leave the agency are prepped correctly so things are produced to the highest possible standard

**Skills & Knowledge**:

- Concepting and creativity
- Great design skills
- Ability to take a brief and run with it, and make it even better than what the clients or suits could ask for
- Attention to detail is key
- Ability to work both collaboratively and alone - depending on what the job calls for
- Quick turnaround with attention to detail
- Unafraid of trying and learning new things and the confidence to deliver
- Proficient experience in Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, other additional programs are a bonus and welcomed
