About the role
Te Wānanga o Aotearoa is looking for an Advisor Tauira Recruitment that will contribute to the annual recruitment of tauira at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa. The successful applicant will be part of a team that will build and maintain relationships within the community. The role will also require the successful applicant to bring innovative thinking when promoting Te Wānanga o Aotearoa through events, community projects and marketing campaigns.
You will have proven experience-building relationships with a range of audiences including young people, Māori, Pasifika and/ or migrant communities.
About you
You will bring with you:
- A Diploma in business or marketing-related field;
- At least three years’ experience in marketing, recruitment or education;
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills and be confident to speak in public;
- An understanding of marketing and sales concepts is an advantage; and
- A sound understanding of brand representation in the community.
- A New Zealand full drivers license
As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
