Senior Automation Test Engineer

We are looking for an individual that is inspired by the latest innovations and technology. Someone that has a disciplined approach to producing a high standard in writing clean code and documentation with limited supervision.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop and execute automation scripts in TypeScript using Selenium WebdriverIO, PACT Contract testing, GraphQL, Flood.io Load testing, K6 Load Testing
- Ability to mentor other team members on Automation & present at knowledge sharing sessions
- CI/CD - Building and maintaining the Automation pipelines
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug to maintain existing automation coverage
- Strong communication to all stakeholders on Automation progression including any roadblocks or risks to the project.

**Minimum **R**equirements**:

- Tertiary degree, preferably Computer Science, or similar, or ability to demonstrate equivalent experience and knowledge in the field
- 5+ years Development/Automation experience
- Proven experience writing/executing Automation test scripts
- Must be eligible to work in NZ

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience writing C#, TypeScript (or equivalent)
- Experience writing PACT Testing
- Experience writing Performance Testing
- Devops knowledge
- Knowledge of SQL very beneficial
- Knowledge of a defect life cycle/ workflow including test management, defect management tools
- Experience in TypeScript (or JavaScript), C#, and Understanding of BDD
- Python, Jenkins, Azure DevOps and Octopus a bonus but not mandatory
