**The Role**

Timaru District Council is seeking a Parks Maintenance Officer to maintain and enhance the cleanliness, charm, and character of Timaru’s historic town centre and wider district parks and reserves.

In this role, you will maintain park amenities and playground facilities, conducting repairs if necessary. You’ll be responsible for routine cleaning, graffiti removal, and maintaining historic building as well. Additionally, you will have a hand in coordinating with contractors and community groups to ensure a consistently high standard of presentation.
