**Key skills and experience required**:

- Hold an ECE Teacher qualification and be registered as an ECE Teacher in New Zealand
- Be passionate and knowledgeable about infant care, education and philosophy
- Ability to teach and support children in a positive, nurturing way
- Caring, flexible, collaborative and motivated
- Sound understanding of Te Whaariki, curriculum design and assessment of children's learning
- Knowledgeable of ECE regulations, policies and procedures
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning and professional practice
- Leadership experience would be ideal but not essential
