SH1 Papakura to Drury Stage 1B (Stage 1B) is part of a staged upgrade to improve SH1 and adjacent multi modal travel reliability, access, and safety. Stage 1B ties into Stage1A, NIMT Bridges, and completes a combined 6km of three laned SH1 in both directions, six new motorway bridges and multiple interfacing local roads, over motorway bridges, Shared User Paths (SUPs) and upgraded utilities.

We need Construction Labourers to start as soon as possible The work is quite varied, and accordingly, the team will need people who are comfortable making sensible and practical decisions about the way they approach their work.

In particular, we would like to speak to professionals who have experience in multi disciplinary civil construction works. The type of work that you’ll be involved in is cyclic in nature and will include:

- Erosion and Sediment Control
- Drain laying
- Utilities Installation
- Minor earthworks
- Pavement and footpath construction
- Backfilling Trenches
- Minor Concrete works
- Boxing
- Vegetation clearing
- Drainage maintenance
- Collaborative team work, under the direction of a Leading Hand or Foreman

We’re looking for someone:

- Comfortable making sensible and practical decisions about how to approach work “in the field”
- A full Class 1 (mandatory) and Class 2 endorsement (preferred)
- WTR endorsements (preferred)
- Own reliable transport to work
- Happy to lift up to 20kgs in a single lift
- Prior general civil experience is preferred
