Our Kaarearea Kaimahi float between North Shore and Waitākere Hospital, creating a strong presence in the Emergency Department (ED). To enhance this service, we are seeking a confident communicator, who can engage with medical professionals, external agencies, and whānau alike. In this fulltime role, you will manage whānau referrals from the Emergency Department and work closely with tangata whaiora to determine their healthcare needs. You will navigate whānau towards pathways for additional support and reduce the frequency of future ED visits. Ready to step up?**Your Skills & Experience.**
We consider a broad range of technical skills and lived experiences:
- Strong commitment to Te Reo me ngā Tikanga Māori.
- Experience in customer service or working with whānau.
- Excellent verbal, written, and ICT-based communication skills.
- Clean, Full NZ Drivers License essential for local travel.
