**About the Role**

We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at James Wattie Retirement Village as a Van Driver. This is a part time position working Monday, Wednesday, Friday 0930 - 1130 and Tuesday and Thursday 1330 - 1630.

In this role you will:

- Ensure the safe and comfortable transportation of residents and others in the village van
- Provide a welcoming, helpful and friendly approach to all passengers ensuring all outings are an enjoyable experience.
- Have a strong focus on Health and safety including passenger safety, speed, road regulations and vehicle upkeep.
- Work closely with, and support your colleagues

**About You**

To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:

- Strong empathy
- Outstanding communication skills
- A reliable, friendly and professional manner
- Ability to drive a manual van
- Current, clean NZ Drivers Licence
- Current P-Endorsed License or the ability to gain one and we will support you to obtain this
