About the Company Our client is a well-respected market leader in roofing repairs and maintenance services with branches all over New Zealand.

About the Role Learning from the ground up, you will be coached in direct selling to our existing customer base using successful company sales strategies. Additionally, you will learn how to grow your new client base. This job has a minimum of 30 hours per week, with a salary range of $25 -$35 per hour.

**Duties**
- Achieves and strives to exceed sales budget within assigned territory
- Builds a new customer pipeline by making telephone calls, in-person visits and presentations to prospective customers.
- Analyses the territorys potential and determines the value of prospective customers to the organisation.
- Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
- Establishes, develops and then maintains business relationships with prospective customers in the assigned territory segment to generate new business for the organisations products/services.
- Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.
- Maintains customer pipeline by making telephone calls, in-person visits and presentations to achieve further sales and /orto up sell to customers.
- Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
- Develops and maintains positive business relationships with current customers to continue selling the organisations products/services.
- Uses a consultative sales approach to build strong customer relationships and trust in the brand
- Participates in trade shows and conferences.
- Identifies advantages and compares organisations products/services.
- Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
