Due to increased demand from our clients, we are currently looking for Caregivers to cover regular shifts at Aged Care facilities throughout Christchurch - enabling you to choose where and when you work.

**About the Role**

Are you passionate about providing the best level of care for the elderly? Are you reliable, committed and able to fit into a variety of healthcare settings? Are you available to work one or more shifts per week (or more if you choose to)? Then we definitely want to talk to you.

**Typical Duties of a Geneva Caregiver**
- Assisting patients with daily living activities, including personal cares and nutritional intake
- Conversing with residents, building rapport, taking them on outings
- Monitoring resident’s wellbeing - taking their medications, getting physical activity etc.

**Skills & Experience**
- A minimum of six months recent caregiving experience is required
- Proficiency using hoists and other manual handling equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Eligible to live and work in New Zealand (we will not sponsor for this role)

**Geneva Healthcare is a preferred provider of temporary Caregivers and Registered Nurses to Aged Care facilities all over the Christchurch region.**
