The Academy is currently looking for expressions of interests for the following roles:

- ** Part time Guitar tutor**
- ** Part time Violin tutor**
- **Part time Vocal tutor**
- ** Part time Piano tutor**

**What you’ll do day-to-day**

These exciting part time roles involve working alongside mainly children & teens to teach them all things music in a one-on one lesson format. With an exciting curriculum plus learning materials already supplied, all you need to do is walk in and teach

You will have an interest in working with people and possess appropriate musical skill. Ideally you will be a well presented, natural born teacher with empathy, confidence, maturity and exemplary interpersonal abilities to relate well to students of all ages but with top tier communication skills reserved especially for children and parents.

Additional to the one-on-one teaching role is the opportunity to become involved with our junior and senior band mentoring program, working alongside young people to develop their musicality plus being 'hands on' at events and performances helping our students to thrive.

**Hours**(Negotiable)
- Monday - Friday from 3.30pm - 6.30pm. Onsite 1- 2 afternoons per week
- Saturday 10am-3pm ( Saturday is non negotiable for guitar tutor applicants)

These are skills specific roles which requires the capability to read music plus you'll need to have proficiency in playing your chosen instrument(s). An interest in working with children / young people is important, but if you haven't had previous experience in this area, it's not a deal breaker We are happy to provide support and guidance to help you grow into your role. Likewise grade certificates or alternative qualifications in music or teaching are advantageous but not essential. We're much more focused on finding team members with amazing communication skills, a can-do attitude, empathy, accountability, effective decision making and maturity. This is a great place for you if you're a current student or recent graduate of education, ECE, teacher's training, music or if you have had any performance or stage experience
