Our Taupo facility is looking to boost its talented team by filling the following position:
**Phased Array Inspector**

**Qualifications**:
We are looking for a PAUT Inspector to join our team to fill a fulltime permanent role working in our NDT & Materials Engineering facility in Taupo. This is a highly successful NZ and global business that has been well known in the marketplace since the launch in 1976.

Our client base is extensive, and we operate in all major industrial groups from dairy, power generation, oil and gas, chemical, pulp and paper process plants through to constructions, building and light engineering.

Reporting to the Operational Manager the primary responsibility of the Inspectors role is to carry out PAUT, general NDT and welding inspections in accordance with relevant codes and standards to ensure our client requirements are met. This can be testing on a variety of products and components covering: metals, plastics, construction and building materials. The Inspector also provides consultancy services to assist our clients with their technical challenges and maintenance.

If you have the below qualities we are interested to hear from you:

- ISO 9712 Phased Array certification and minimum 2 other Level 2 certifications such as: MT, PT, ET, RT, UT, Coatings, Welding, API's, etc
- Minimum 8 years practical work experience in NDT
- Minimum 5 years in PAUT experience
- Customer and client service focus.
- A current driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites around NZ.
- Able to use computers and technology.
- Able to work well with others in a team environment

This is a full time position - 40 hours per week.

The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $100,000 per annum.

Taupo is a vibrant area for outdoor pursuits such as hunting, fishing, skiing, mountain biking & 4WD, is centrally located and within easy reach of other main centres such as Rotorua, Tauranga and Hamilton, you can be skiing in the morning then surfing in the afternoon.
