We have an exciting opportunity at New World Hastings in our Bakery department as Baker - Dough/Pastry

New World Hastings is a large format Supermarket in Hawkes Bay. We are locally owned and operated and part of the Foodstuffs North Island Cooperative. New World Hastings services over 20,000 customers weekly with an extensive range of products on offer. Our customer promises are Fair Value, Inspiring Solutions and Awesome Experience.

This is a full-time permanent position.

Mon, Tues, Weds, Thurs & Sun 3.00AM - 11.30AM
- Making pastry, bread dough and other bakery products.
- Minimum basic qualification in professional cookery, including Bread Doughs & Pastry is required.
- Pay Rate is $28.18 per hour.
- Willing to learn the New World Food Control Plan Ensuring Safe food handling.
- Physically Fit and high level of personal presentation
- Basic understanding of Health and Safety in a work environment,
- Good Understanding of English and ability to communicate fluently in English.
- Minimum Guaranteed hours of 40 hours per week.
