Draughtsperson (Mechanical)

We are looking for a talented Mechanical Draughtsperson ("Draughtsperson") to join our team. **About the role** This is a Draughtsperson role that is much more than just drafting. This role will play a leadership and administrative role in respect of maintaining document management system integrity and control. The Draughtsperson is part of a team of draughtspeople (mechanical and electrical) which delivers a draughting service to all departments on site. In addition to the document control responsibilities, this position is responsible for the development of mechanical designs from concept through to detailed manufacturing drawings. In particular, the Draughtsperson will Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings for the fabrication of mechanical equipment using sketches and design information for plant engineers - Detail drawings in AutoCAD 2D/3D or Inventor that meet or exceed the clients' needs, budgets, and expectations - Update and modify drawings in both AutoCAD 2D/3D and Inventor - Maintain and update all relevant records and documentation **About you** In addition to demonstrating Pan Pac's values, the Draughtsperson will have 5 years' experience in mechanical workshop or related activities - Preferably 3 years' experience utilising AutoCAD 2D/3D and Inventor - Preferably mechanical trade certificate level 4 - Previous experience or active interest in managing document control processes - Ability to build strong and effective relationships with key internal stakeholders across the Pan Pac business Good understanding of computers and IT **About us** For nearly 50 years, Pan Pac has been growing, processing and delivering quality radiata products to national and international markets.
