Freight Handler

**About the role**:
A great opportunity to join an international courier and airfreight business on a part time basis. You will be processing export/import shipments, preparing all relevant documentation, and complying with all relevant policies and procedures. When not in the Warehouse / office you will be assisting with airside collection of goods, loading, and delivering freight/parcels around the Christchurch region.

This role is customer focused, so you will have previous experience in a customer facing role and enjoy dealing with people. You will also have good knowledge of the Christchurch area and be able to pass appropriate security checks.

Your days of work will be on a part time basis and would mainly be Wednesday to Sunday. Hours will be organised in and around flight schedules, some flexibility to work additional hours/days may be required with an average of 35-40 hours per week.

**About you**:
Good admin and computer skills
- Excellent time management skills and be able to work unsupervised
- An understanding of airfreight and/or courier systems would be an advantage, but not essential
- A full Class 2 licence and able to drive a manual vehicle would be ideal but Class 1 licence will be fine also.
- F Endorsement and OSH Cert for Forklift is essential
- Physically fit
