The New Zealand solar market is starting to accelerate. We are looking to hire a customer engagement specialist to support our sales team. This role would consist of:

- **Contact inbound customers who have already registered interest in solar / storage**:

- **Giving customers the information they need to determine if they are a good fit for ZEN Energy's product range / expertise**:

- **Uncover customer pain points, and understand customer expectations around solar**:

- **Escalating calls to the sales team, or scheduling a discovery call**:

- **Reaching out to existing customers to generate reviews or referrals
**All technical and sales training will be provided in-house. You will primarily be contacting inbound leads, qualifying them, and handing them to the sales team for discovery calls. The role will initially consist of 20 hours a week, with pay determined by previous experience / skills.
- Proficient with G-suite (Gmail, Google Calendar, Sheets), and great computer literacy
- Experience in sales, or working within a complex retail environment
- Track record of performance and punctuality in previous roles
- Hunger for excellence and achieving your goals

Any complimentary skills would also be an advantage in this role. For example, graphic design, copywriting, marketing, systems automation, proven sales skills, etc. Please mention anything else that could be relevant. This could be a critical step in the early stage of your career.
