We are focused on doing the right thing for senior New Zealanders. This entails offering the care that is appropriate and sensitive to people’s individual requirements as they age. We pride ourselves on providing personalized care, doing what we said we would do, behaving with integrity and respecting residents who have entrusted us with their care. Nelson Street Rest Home currently provides rest home level care and dementia level care. We are currently seeking Caregivers for casual positions to join our team providing care for our residents. A variety of duties will be required to be covered, morning, afternoons and night duties. With service delivery extending to include dementia care and hospital level care, there is a potential for more permanent hours to be offered as the need arises. The wage ranges from 23.50 to above 28.25 per hour dependent on qualifications. - Have a desire to make a positive difference to the lives of older people - Be able to work independently and as part of a team - Be available at short notice - Be punctual & reliable - Have a good sense of humor - Previous experience is preferred but not essential as training can be provided. Schedule: Afternoon shift Morning shift Night shift **Job Type**: Casual Pay: $23.50 - $28.50 per hour
