- kitchen and shop area is kept clean at all times; clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment and maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and sanitation regulations
- check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning
- describe menu items to customers or suggest products that might appeal to them
- provide customers with product details, such as coffee blend or preparation descriptions
- stock is always well presented and rotated
- keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs
- improves quality results by maintaining and improving the appearance of the shop
- receive and process customer payments efficiently and record using the correct procedures and systems.
