**ABOUT US / MŌ MĀTOU**

Ko Taku Reo Deaf Education New Zealand is the national provider of education services to New Zealand’s Deaf and hard of hearing children. At Ko Taku Reo we work to nurture the social and emotional wellbeing of New Zealand’s Deaf and hard of hearing children through assisting them form their own identity, also providing support and resources toward achieving their academic potential. You will be joining a nationwide team, motivated to deliver quality HR services, supporting the education and wellbeing of Deaf and hard of hearing students.

**THE ROLE / TE MAHI**

Having been through a period of change it is time to embed HR policy and direction. We are seeking an experienced and results driven Senior HR Business Partner to join us for a fixed term period of up to 24 months covering project work focusing on compliance and functionality. This role is based in our Christchurch office and reports to the Head of Human Resources.

The Senior HR Business Partner will focus on expanding the accessibility of HR service to the organisation by:

- Providing comprehensive, professional and efficient service covering strategic and operational support and advice to senior leaders
- Working with senior leaders and the HR Team in areas of employment relations, performance management, complaint/competence processing, reporting and resource planning
- Aligning business objectives across service areas by formulating partnerships to deliver HR services to management and employees

**ABOUT YOU / MŌ KOE**
- Proven experience as a dynamic Senior Human Resources generalist with a relevant HR qualification
- Understands the demands of a fast-paced and changing organisation
- Strong HR process experience and demonstrated commercial acumen
- Highly developed interpersonal and relationship skills
- Exceptional ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Personal or work place exposure working with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community
