We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Nurse to join our Gastroenterology team on a part-time permanent basis. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, administrative duties, and collaborating with primary care professionals.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Liaise with primary care, patients, and their families, the National Co-ordination Centre, and the National Screening Unit
  • Undertake advanced patient assessments and administrative duties, including booking procedure appointments and entering data in a specialized database
  • Meet stringent reporting requirements, providing robust quality information to Health New Zealand Southern and the Prevention Directorate

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC
  • Extensive recent knowledge in gastroenterology procedures, particularly colonoscopy
  • Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals
