Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist with experience and interest in Occupational Health in the Vocational Rehabilitation services and/or Community space.

The successful candidate will be required to provide a wide variety of Well At Work services within the Manawatu region, working closely with key businesses to assist in the prevention and management of pain, discomfort, and injury in their workplaces.

This role offers extensive training and mentoring opportunities depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy and a minimum of 2 years clinical experience.

About the Role

  • Complete workplace assessments for return to work following illness or injury.
  • Provide patient education, training, treatment, and rehabilitation in various community and workplace settings.
  • Liaise with external partners, including specialists, general practitioners, and employers, to ensure smooth rehabilitation for clients.
  • Administer tasks from home, including documentation and administrative duties.
