About the Role

">

We are seeking a Help Desk Technician to join our IT team for a 6-month contract. As a key member of our team, you will provide efficient and effective technology solutions and support to our 8 offices across New Zealand and Australia.

Your responsibilities will include:

">
  • Providing helpdesk support and responding to request queues
  • Setting up new hardware and computers for new hires
  • Troubleshooting and resolving computer, printer, software, hardware, and network-related issues
  • Escalating unresolved issues to Level 2/3 support
  • Performing computer hardware/software upgrades and maintaining computer asset inventory
  • Developing content to promote self-service, such as tutorials, videos, user guides, and response templates
  • Providing basic in-house training on desktop applications to new staff
  • Creating and maintaining user accounts in Active Directory and Office365 under direction
  • Staying current on relevant technologies
  • Assisting with potential office moves and other duties as assigned

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">
  • BASIC knowledge of network fundamentals, DHCP, and DNS
  • BASIC knowledge of Active Directory
  • 1-3 years of practical work experience in a computer-related corporate support role
  • Competence in working within a Microsoft environment, including Windows 11, MS Office 365, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, and Windows-based PC/laptop hardware
  • Experience with MS InTune or MS Defender is a plus
  • Technician background and experience in a professional setting are ideal
  • Good communication skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people
  • Ability to work on technology projects individually or in concert with other IT team members
