About the Role

New Zealand Police is working towards a vision of making New Zealand the safest country. To achieve this, we are seeking an Integrated Safety Response Coordinator to join our team.

This role is responsible for attending and providing administration support at multi-agency Safety Assessment Meetings. As an integrated safety response coordinator, you will be responsible for implementing effective processes to coordinate daily operations, including triage and chairing safety assessment meetings.

  • You will facilitate appropriate and relevant information sharing that identifies current knowledge held by the collective, so that initial risk assessment and timeframes for response can be agreed upon.
  • Ensure connected, effective responses and balanced allocation of work to service providers based on understanding provider capability, capacity, and fit.
  • Identify, create, and implement solutions to address problems with processes and procedures.
Key Accountabilities:
  • To ensure the case management system is accurate and updated regularly, completes administrative and technical support functions as required.
  • To ensure risk escalation processes and procedures are followed by all organizations working in the partnership.
  • To complete quality assurance and trend reporting where required.
