About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team of 14 psychiatrists. This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team of medical, nursing, and allied health staff, primarily caring for individuals in a community setting with complex needs requiring specialist mental health services.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to interact with a wide variety of people from different backgrounds, and a passion for delivering person-centred care. They will be expected to provide consultant services, mentor junior medical staff, and participate in an on-call roster.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality consultant services to individuals requiring specialist care.
- Mentor junior medical staff attached to the service.
- Participate in an on-call roster (1:10).
- Cover colleagues in their absence.
